Walk & Train: Supportive, Skill-Building Walks for Sensitive Dogs

Walks offered within 20 minutes of ng165ax or ng210na

My Walk & Train service gives your dog a safe, structured, confidence-building outing with a behaviour professional. It’s ideal for reactive, sensitive, anxious, or overwhelmed dogs who can’t cope with busy group walks or inexperienced handlers. This isn’t “just a walk.”

Why Walk & Train Is Different

Most dog walks meet physical needs, but the walk & train meets emotional, behavioural, and well-being needs too. Here’s what makes it special:

Specialist support for reactive or sensitive dogs

I work with dogs who struggle: barking, lunging, freezing, worrying, or finding the world a bit too much.
Walks are tailored to your dog’s nervous system, not a stopwatch.

Real-world training woven into the walk

We build calmness, confidence, loose-lead skills, and safer responses around everyday challenges… at your dog’s pace.

A behaviour-forward approach

This isn’t treating symptoms.
It’s supporting the root cause: emotions, environment, pain, stress, and unmet needs.

Progress even when you’re busy

You don’t lose momentum between sessions.
Your dog is learning and practising the skills we’re building together.

Handled with kindness, clarity, and expertise

No overwhelm.
No “push through it.”
No aversive tools.
Just gentle, safe, effective behavioural support.

Who Walk & Train Is Perfect For

  • Reactive dogs (barking, lunging, “my brain fell out” moments)

  • Anxious or sensitive dogs

  • Dogs struggling with novelty, noise, or the outside world

  • Dogs who need decompression, not overwhelm

  • Young dogs needing gentle, consistent shaping

  • Owners who want progress but are juggling busy or unpredictable schedules

Pricing:

60-Minute Walk & Train - £35 (or £20 per walk for existing training clients). Full support walk with training woven in, tailored routes, decompression time, skill development, and confidence-building around real-life triggers, tailored to your specific dog's personality and needs.

Additional dog from the same household - £15

Is this worth the price?

Absolutely.
You’re not paying for a walk, you’re paying for:

  • Behavioural expertise

  • Safe handling of complex dogs

  • Real-life training

  • Emotional understanding

  • Progress between sessions

  • Kinder, calmer outcomes for both ends of the lead

Your dog isn’t just being exercised; they’re being supported, guided, understood, and enriched in line with their needs and your training plan.
